Australia has some of the most venemous snakes in the world so if you are venturing into prone areas the Quagmire 8oz Corespun canvas offer exceptional snake bit resistance compared to lightweight rip-stop nylon or polyester gaiters.

Gaiters are essential for bushwalkers and hikers to protect from scratches, scrub bashing, leg scratching, shin destroying, leeches, bugs, snakes and harsh factors the elements can dish up. Alloy and stainless steel hardware, inner ankle scuff pads, and a replaceable foot strap all provides reliable leg armour even against Australia's dreaded Spinifex bush and the likes.
1000 denier Cordura fabric provides a snug fit around your boots, the canvas upper section stands up well with the top open for ventilation and comfort while a 50mm Velcro closure on the front provides superior fit adjustment and shin protection
